Dr. Wil to his patients, was born and raised in Vegreville AB and graduated Vegreville Composite High School in 1994. He obtained his Degree in Dentistry from the University of Alberta in 2003.
After graduation Dr. Wil purchased a practice in Hinton, AB, where he practiced for 21 years. “I built a successful practice, by following one adage, treat all patients as they are your parents or your kids. I had to be a good general dentist in all facets, due to the distance to specialists in Edmonton (called myself a "cowboy dentist").” Dr. Wil had Hospital privileges in Hinton Hospital for 20yrs doing large pediatric cases. He has instructed at the University of Alberta on and off over the years in 4th clinic and at satellite clinics. He is currently on the CDSAB roster for any complaint reviews and hearing tribunals. More recently worked in Morinville/Fort Saskatchewan as an associate for 2 yrs residing in Sturgeon County with his partner Erin. “I found out being an associate isn't for me, hence why I bought Envision Dental in Gibbons.”
Dr. Wil big sports fan especially the Edmonton Oilers (season ticket holder). Activities include hanging at the Thorhild farm, playing hockey, golf, running, going on adventures with Erin, and cross-country skiing. He looks forward to providing dental services to Gibbons and the surrounding area.
Erin was born and raised in Prince Rupert BC and graduated from Charles Hays Secondary. In 2018 she completed the Dental Hygiene diploma program at Vancouver Community College and went on to Obtain her Bachelors of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of British Columbia.
Working in both Vancouvers Downtown East Side and down town Prince George BC has provided Erin with experience working with a range of complex and compound periodontal cases within vulnerable communities. She has continued to pursue courses in Trauma informed Care through AHS and strives to provide both gentle and effective hygiene care for her patients. She values communication with her patients in order to offer the best experience possible and to support oral health education no matter where you are in your health journey.
In 2020 Erin moved to Hinton and has been enjoying exploring Alberta with her partner Dr. Wil. In her spare time Erin enjoys dance, aerial acro, Pilates, yoga, running, cross country skiing and has become a loyal Oilers fan much to the delight of Dr. Wil.
Nataly is the first smiling face you see when you walk through the doors at Envision Dental. She is the glue that keeps it altogether; booking appointments, coordinating treatment and helping to sort out insurance plans in simple terms.

“My name is Nataly, and I’ve been a Registered Dental Assistant since graduating in 2017. While I started on the clinical side, I now take on more of an administrative roll within the practice. I really enjoy getting to know the families who come through our doors and especially love working with kids.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling with my partner Alex and our 13-year-old daughter. We also have a fun-loving 3-year-old dog who keeps us on our toes. In my free time, I’m always up for a good game of cards and cherish any time spent with family.”
Joselyn is Dr. Wil’s right hand behind the scenes. Her upbeat and positive energy can put even the most anxious patients at ease. Everybody goes home with a smile when Joselyn is around.
“Hey there! I'm Joselyn your friendly Envision Dental RDA. I've been a dental assistant since 2020, I take pride in making our patients feel safe and just genuinely try to create a fun experience for everyone. But basically, I'm the hands that do all the behind the scenes stuff.
When I’m not at work, I’m busy chasing around my 4 year old, free range chicken who keeps me on my toes and likes to point out all the areas of my life I need to expand on. I’m passionate about personal growth, love anything that gets my body moving, and always find time to get creative—whether it’s crafting or something new I’ve never tried before.
